Afsana Jerin Shayery is an educator and researcher currently working as a Lecturer at Daffodil International University, Bangladesh. She has been a Teaching Fellow and worked as a research associate in the same university for one year. She also worked as an Administrative Officer in the International Affairs office of Daffodil International University. Besides her teaching responsibilities, she works as an Award Leader of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Foundation and publishes lessons on comprehensive online learning platforms. She completed BA (Hons.) in English Studies and a Master’s in English Language Teaching (ELT) from Daffodil International University with the recognition of one of the toppers of the department. She works on research projects in the field of outcome-based education and students’ feedback on English Language Teaching (ELT), the Effectiveness of digital learning over traditional education in Bangladesh and the International Perspective, Academic Sustainability Practices, and building strong professional communication. She visited several countries as a part of her cultural exchange and skill development participation and gained multicultural knowledge and has been awarded in pitching and project idea development competitions. She has published her research works in reputed journals and presented at international conferences. She is an expert in institutional internationalization by profession, and a social activist working for Social Business, Three Zeros & Digital Equity for All Ages.
